1 ruble of 1724 with Great Peter I profile. The coin called " Solnechnik " because on reverse has a small symbolic sun.

The coin made at the St. On the front of the ruble is.

Portrait of Emperor Peter I with right profile dressed in armor shoulders and mantle. Under the portrait on left side minted mintmark in Cyrillic alphabet - "SPB". On the obverse of the coin circular inscription: "PETR IMPERATOR SAMODERZHETS VSEROSSYISKIY". In the central part of the reverse placed the monogram: the four letters "P" connected to each other in the form of the cross and crowns.

The inside of the monogram a symbolic image of the sun divided on two parts by year of the issue. The crowns also is an elements of monograms delimited by circular inscription: "COIN/NEW/PRICE/RUBlE".

The material used for the minting is silver of 728 probe according Russian sources. This coin in good condition regarding the age as pictured. Please see the pictures for condition and details.
